Any Engineers out there

My Son just graduated one of the best Aerospace Engineer Programs in the World at the University of Maryland but jobs are few and far between it seems. If anyone has any contacts or info that may help him get a foot in the door it would be much appreciated. Just thought I would throw it out there to this bunch of good people.

Bill, does the university offer resume placement for the grads? My son has found two jobs from U of I engineering postings.
Everything from small, medium sized, to government and the big guys like Ford recruit directly from them, with no intermediate
agency's involved. Has he checked into aerospace metalworking contractors? They can often be a foot in the door. Good luck to him.

I will check with him Bob, thanks much for the info

Bill,

I missed this until now.

The commercial nuclear industry is aggressively hiring young engineers. The codgers like me are retiring in droves and need to be replaced. Does your son have a location preference?
