The darker links are “Kiolbassa” beef garlic sausages. Grandson spotted them and said that he thought they would be good. This batch had REALLY tough casings but, the flavor was excellent. A couple of the Italians were left so, I have sliced them and folded them into the leftover rigatoni thing and will bake that for another dinner. The sausages were all delightful!
Oh, and yes that is a vat of melted butter!
