4 feet of snow covering the barbecues decided to dig out the Big Easy oil-less fryer and cook up a roasting chicken let easier than trying to fire up the WSM smoker. It is supposed to take 10 minutes a pound, this was an 8 pound bird, took 2 hours 15 minutes of course it was 15 degrees outside

Don't know how you folks do it. But I've got to hand it to you, four feet of snow and 15 degrees and you're out there cooking, that's dedication!

No it is madness but we still do it! It is worse in Buffalo and Alaska!

I could get at the smokers yesterday here they are today under the snow

Jeff, with all that snow do you have any problems when the snow melts on your grills, I always keep mine covered, here in Cent Cal my problem is Dust :(

I have my two WSM's covered. the Silver B is uncovered right now because I have been using it but I have to shovel a path to it each time. Also when it is 10 degrees or less it takes longer to grill the food.

Jeff , you are a madman. You couldn't get me out there with a cattle prod.(except to shovel and snowblow) your chicken looks unbelievable and my hat is off to you , sir!

Jeff I also love my Big-Easy cause it's big & easy to use. I went on the forum for tips when I used mine in cold weather, and one tip was bringing the unit inside to warm up to room temperature.
Bird look great!

Look at the pictures from the original post, that was 3 weeks ago, now look at the snow, it just isn't stopping. I don't know if I will ever see my webers again!
