Another big stainless grill for cheap

Here's one I don't know anything about. It's another big, all stainless grill. 5 burners. Note, no inside pictures!

I am not sure if those cooking grates are CI or SS. It looks like a pretty nice grill actually without seeing it in person.

It looks like it has a bunch of bad reviews for not being able to get hot enough.

Oh yeah, now I remember. I saw one of these at Costco in Florida. I even posted about it. Those flat grates ARE stainless. The issues with this grill are (1) where will you be in a few years regarding parts? (2) Instead of flavorizer bars they went with a single huge shield. It tames flare ups, but it also makes for a grill that doesn’t get hot enough - at least not in a short time. They kind of did the opposite of what Weber did with the SmokeFire. Weber opened up the pellet grill with flavorizers while the competition mostly uses a single full shield.

This would be an interesting grill to try and mod by replacing that shield with bars. Just not sure about the grease management which may well depend on that shield just like my Rec Tec pellet grill does in its to channel grease to the drain.

Well, tax season is finally over:D! So, I had time to go with my wife on a trip to Costco. We had to patrol almost all the aisles, but I was at least able to take a brief look at the grills being offered. I was especially interested because of several posts here about grills others had looked...
