Angus Prime brisket?

I was at Sam's this weekend to get a brisket for my weekend cook and noticed mix of briskets in the cooler including one marked Angus Prime. This was on the cryopac not the label. It was mixed in with the regular prime labeled briskets and the only one marked like this. I've never seen one with these markings so is this a regular thing or just some mislabel? I of course have seen Angus steaks but not a brisket before.

I will say it was a fantastic piece of meat and even the wife said it was my best yet.

The last three packers I bought from Sams had the CAB mark or Certified Angus Beef. Once in awhile I'll see black angus but not at Sam's.
It's a breed of cattle.

Maybe more specific but, they are found readily enough around here. I don’t know if I’d call them “premium” but, nice.

Prime is prime, angus is just the breed of cattle. The American Angus Association was brilliant in there marketing campaign to promote angus as being the top of the line beef. A lot of people think it's better just because it has the angus label, but there's plenty of low grade angus beef out there. In the end, the breed makes no difference as long as it has the prime grade you got a quality chunk of eats...
