angus choice vs prime

Ok so I know the difference in grade can make huge difference in the steak cuts but when it comes to brisket is it worth the extra expense about 2.00 pr lb. I can get angus usda choice for 2.99pr lb. For comps I might go with the prime if there is money on the line. I have been using whatever Sam,s has on hand, last I checked it was select. Doing ok in comp haven't placed yet in Brisket i have come close.

Some like select but I pass on any select meat. I cook choice most of the time but I do like prime and waygu is even better.

I heard that waygu is really up there in price but when the money is on the line.

I'm no brisket expert but I've found that prime grade meat can make a surprising difference in cuts where it's just not that obvious that it would help. I'd at least try one sometime and see what you think.
