Just to answer a few questions:
Tim, no, it does not taste like chicken. This is a thirty foot long mammal. The weight is about ten metric tonnes. A bit different than a chicken.
Justin, yes, it is legal to eat these animals in Norway. I think that I would have some minor difficulties in catching one, bring it to shore, slaughter it and store the meat without anyone noticing.
John- this is Minke whale, a growing group of whales. Hunting is under strict goverment control. We can not export this meat, which is a shame, because it is full of taste, Omega acids, lean and super healthy.
