Done this before, grilled Mille's Italians with onions and red and yellow bells. Today, sweet corn from down south enjoyed the heat...

Looks to be over cooked, yet, it was done to purrfection! (That, comin' from a JazzCat

The corn is awesome, served with mayo... Never had better this time of year... usually, hafta wait til late August - September to enjoy this... the salad is a creamy dill red potato salad... the Italians (yes, i know
icon_rolleyes.gif
) were topped with a little tomatillo salsa made with roasted serranos and cilantro!
Plated up an' served.

Quick an'EZ supper.
Thank you for viewing.
Enjoy the evening!

Super looking supper JazzCat!
That first pic is a Knockout!

Been gettin' good Florida corn here.
If I could ever remember to try mayo on it, and maybe a dash of Old Bay.

Bob, been told this corn is from Georgia, and it is FANTASTIC!
Yeah man, mayo an' a lil' pepper or, in this case, yeah, old bay... i'll try that!

Great looking stuff but you ruined the corn.

I like my corn plain, my wife likes hers with mayo and then that powdered Parmesan cheese on top with a little hot sauce. YUK!! Street vendors in Tijuana sell it the same way.

Looks great as usual Jim! I usually put lime and a little pepper on my corn. Give that a try some time.

i meant mc donalds big mac combo. nothing compared to your cooks.

btw with the corn, add following ingredients like some have posted.

mayo, mexican cotija cheese (you can use romano or parmesan), tapatio hot sauce or cayenne, and lime. this is how the mexican street vendors sell corn on the cob here in los angeles, for $1.

this dude tyler florence (who is awesome and underrated imo) loves corn on the cob the mexican way.

Another knockout, Jim! That looks soooo good. I've been away from my grills for what seems like an eternity. Can't wait to get back to it!!

Looks killer Jim, but what's up with the tomatillo salsa?? WTH is there no good Hot Giardiniera up your way??
icon_biggrin.gif

Love the COTC that way also, rolled in some HM, parm, and crushed red pepper flakes.. good stuff!
If you like, try simmering your peppers & onions in a little beef stock after you take them off the grill with some Italian seasonings.
That, IMO does a Italian sausage W/ Peppers right.

Hey Jim - You've made those mille's before and I can see you haven't forgotten how. Nice looking plate. Been out of the loop for a couple of weeks. Good to be back in and see you are still at it. Nice job. Thanks for sharing. Bob
