Again, I'm sure for the millionth time ... does anyone know where you can get a Polder and get it shipped to Canada. Or better yet buy one from a source up here in the great white north?

Have you tried Compleat Cook or Happy Cooker in Calgary? I have found several types at better kitchen stores in our area. Also, Amazon.com (who we've been asked to support for this site) ships to Canada and they carry a couple models.
