Am I Missing Something?

So my wife left this morning to visit her sister in Mercer, Wisconsin for a few days. We had NY Strips the other night, and she could not finish hers. So I thought the three Huskies might enjoy a bit of steak in their kibble. So I pulled it out of the fridge and noticed something odd. See for yourself. What do you think?

In reply to your "something odd" my first thought is that was the bottom side as it sat in the fridge and that is some meat juice or fat that drained out and conjelled".

Mike, you are correct. It was the side sitting on the bottom.
