Ain't she purdy, and, please forgive me...

I picked up a new grill last weekend, an '84. She has some dings in the enamel, but she is no worse for wear. I got her at a yard sale, the afternoon of the second day. The guy had $20.00 on her, I countered w/$12.00. He said no at first, but as I was leaving he said sure. S-SCO-O-O-O-ORE!

My first cook was burgers: no pics. This is the second: Pork Steak. Here they are out of the marinade and pre-rub.

The rest of the meal. That's rhubarb in the bowl: it goes on the grill and than on the salad.

Nothin' to do with cookin'.

Here is my one (not) action shot and my request for forgiveness

Which I blame on that old joke: I only had one drink, but it was a BIG one :p

Steaks and onions having a rest

And plated

Don't forget the corn, Brian!

The marinade recipe is from one of Jim's markets: Jacobs. My only change was adding some Sriracha. M-m-m, Sriracha. The rhubarb on the salad was a first for us, I will do it again. Nice tart little bites. Thanks for lookin'.

Brian, not only did you SCORE gettin' that REDHEAD, butt your pork steaks look EXCELLENT!!
