Ahi Poke with English cuke, radish, rice and furikake

Boy oh boy that looks good. The tuna looks to be pretty amazing quality.
Costco by us gets fresh Ahi from Hawaii water 3x a week via airplane. It’s top notch quality. Sure, the fish market in SF has even higher grade but I don’t think the price/benefit outweighs what we can buy. Center cut loins, with zero to none of that fibrous muscle strings. The color and richness you’re seeing comes from the poke sauce as it makes the tuna look ridiculously fresh, like right out of the water. Thirty minutes marinating in the fridge and it was ready for dinner service. Nonetheless, this was a superb cut and meal. All 4 of us devoured it.

I’m betting your Costco carries this as you’re close to us here in CA.

My oldest,11 would LOVE that, I don’t do seafood but my little man loves all of it. Proud dad!!
I don’t know how you don’t do seafood. I could live on it, and just did during vacation. Is it an allergy thing? Or a texture thing?
