If WSM is out of rain it should be okay, unless you have a lot of wind. Winds will feed your bottom vents and cause temps to increase. Keep an eye on your temps till you feel they have stablized. You might have to close off 1 or 2 vents completly to keep them down. I haven't had too much trouble with wind because of where I use mine at, perhaps someone else will pickup on your thread and pitch in.
