The key is just to be creative and be smart. I have used a 2-liter pop bottle or a wine bottle, both work well and if you are careful/smart, you can pour right into the pan and avoid splashing and ashing.

Yup, I went the gas can route and sprayed it blue, tho sometimes you can buy them in blue. That's a MUST.

Take that growler to yer local brew pub and take home some fresh beer....!

Empty wine bottle for me. Always have them.
Or a one liter soda bottle. I like the size better than the two liter for this application.

I have several beer growlers actually. Just have a use for them when they are not called upon for my favorite purpose of a growler. Next time I cook I should take a picture of a couple of them!
