ABT expediency


 
Didn't have leftover meat for my ABTs, so when I trimmed my ribs I took the floppy ends, rubbed them, put them o the grill in indirect heat, and half an hour later chopped them up. Don't know if that violates code, but the taste I sneaked was good!
 
I (GASP!!!) have actually never put meat in my ABTs, just straight cheese (cream/cheddar/green onion/S&P/rub) and they come out awesome everytime. I let the outside bacon be the main event.
 
I agree, an ABT is a blank canvass.

I have used Chorizo, italian sausage, shrimp, buffalo mozz, capicola, flying fish roe, etc. THey were all good
