Picked it up....thing is in awesome shape! It has been used just a couple of times....can't wait to get it going this weekend! Now to decide what to cook first.

The only thing he had done was drill a small hole for a Maverick thermometer, so I guess I'll be ordering one of those.

Good score Scott on a NICE smoker. $170 ain't bad at all. If it doesn't work out for you, you can ALWAYS get THAT money back (for the price you paid) - perhaps more.

Didn't get it....guy couldn't meet up and ended selling to someone else....BUT...I'm going tonight after work and picking another one up for $170!! Only used once or twice.

You can get a brand new one for $299 if this one doesn't work out. I sold my 3-year old 18 1/2 in one day on craigslist for $150. Had two people fighting over it. I guess I priced it too cheap huh ? Good luck.
