I found a cheap whole chicken, at Fresh and Easy, and decided to smoke it, using apple wood. I marinated the little bird, in some Stubbs beef marinade. Good stuff, has some heat to it, a litte bit of spice to it. Yum! I used a couple of apple chunks, and let er go! It took about 50 minutes, or so, for the breast meat to come up to 165F, I let it rest for about 15-20 minutes, under foil. Came out very juicy! Here are the pics.

The bird.

In the marinade, while I get the coals going.

Grill setup.

Whole chicken: $3.12.

A bottle of Stubbs: $2.99.
