A Lovely Evening and a Lovely Steak

My wife picked up a "sirloin strip" steak tonight from Fareway. Hadn't heard of it before, but it sure was delicious. Seasoned with a little canola oil and Penzey's Chicago Steak seasoning. Used my new Firewire for the first time. Taters were delicious, but I think I'll try seasoning them a little next time. Added some steamed fresh broccoli and this was the result:

Great looking steaks! I need a playset like that for my son. He's outgrown his. Where did you buy it?

Matt... Nice cook, nice pictures and all around nice post! Love when folks add some pictures of their area! Great looking meal Matt and looks like the little one is having a ball!

Thanks for the kind words!

Menards. It's by a company called Playstar. We did a lot of research, and their playsets get pretty good reviews. He loves it.

Rolf, the firewire worked great. I wish the threading end was a little sharper (you really have to use some elbow grease to get those spuds on there), but it made dealing with the potatoes super easy.

To tired to make anything tonight...But i guess this weekend will have some grill time. Killer meal Matt! Would love that plate right now!
