#9057 Grill Out Light help.

I've got a few NOS #9057 Grill Out Lights and am thinking about changing out the bulbs to LED. Weber shows a part number of 88109 for the OEM incandescent lamps. Anyone "been there, done that" with these yet that could share a LED bulb equivalent part number before I drag them out of storage and start disassembling things to find out? I might as well ask the "duh" question of how many C cell batteries the 9057 takes a well. It's been too long for me to recall and, in perfect hindsight, I just sold off a grill with the handle and never thought to check on either one of these before letting it go.

These are the style of LED's you want: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076JBZK4T/?tag=tvwb-20

Keep in mind that most LED's are one directional (Polarity sensetive) and you may have to reverse the batteries in your light for them to work. Yes, the conversion has been done many times. I think it is three C cell batteries per side on the light.

Oh, and they do put out a whole lot more light than the standard incandescent bulbs.

Thank you, Bruce. You are da man!

What's the going rate for these? I have a couple that
I may need to post up on eBay.
They've been climbing steadily in the last year. I think I saw the most recent ones going out for $60+ after shipping. I'm just too much of a hoarder to unload mine and always regret getting rid of one when I do.

I had bruce walk me through this process, worked perfectly once i reversed the batteries!

I think it is a great idea. The LED light bulbs have undeniable advantages over conventional lighting devices, after all. Moreover, such bulbs are much cheaper. That is why I bought myself the same one on https://www.vont.com/product/vont-bulb-color-smart-light-bulbs-smart-bulbs /. Btw, it would be best if you did not forget to purchase additional equipment in addition to the laps. It will strengthen the structure of your grill and extend the service life. I hope you will be able to find a proper one.

The type of bulbs in LED for these lights are actually fairly expensive....as in $15 for a pair. At least that is what I found when looking a year or two ago. If someone can source them cheaper, please share.
