7-up wings and a fatty.

Way to long since i posted any cook. Feels like im time starved atm. Will be better after this week,6 weeks of vacation

Ok lets start with the 24/7(24h/7-up) marinated Wings:

Rubbed with a Standard chicken rub. Cooked @ 375.



Sauced: Sweet baby rays+a splash of sriracha.


Back on the grill to firm the sauce


Done:



The sauce and the rub was all i tasted...But i will try the 7-up thingy again...Super juicy and tender.

Fatty:

50/50 pork/beef. salt/pepper/vegeta in the ground meat. Filling: Maters/basil/cheese.




Sidedish: Potatoes/garlic/butter/parsley/salt in a foil pack


Indirect untill done:


Pulled @ 150:

I'm gonna hafta make this kind of fatty, wee have tons of basil...
 
Those wings look great. WSM I presume. Can I ask how you fire it for things like that? 2 chimneys and no pan?

Lampe: We used a mild creamy on(so the tomatoe/basil would speak for itself. But i bet it would be just as good with a charp whisconsin Cheddar aswell!

Jeff: Its on the Primo..But last wing cook i had 1 chimney/no pan and let her rip.
