Spring is windy and cold so far. So I’m going to will my way into warmer weather. I miss bbq and grilling.

Chuck said Choice but looked Prime to me.

Got around 14 burgers out of 5# Chuck. Double grind for consistency. Cooked plain, no salt or nothing.

Looks like a real nice spread.

How did you feel to omit the salt?

My last burger post where I ground the beef myself I actually forgot to salt most of the burgers.
I felt like it was something that I should not have missed......
The body does require some salt.....just not truck loads.
I have been buying a lower sodium and higher potassium salt lately and enjoying it very much.
Of course it costs an arm and a leg but the flavour is outstanding....great as a finishing salt.

thanks. minus the winds, it was nice to cook outside.

the beef flavor really came through without salt. mind you. there was plenty of salt elsewhere though. the pickles were homemade sours with 3.3% salinity and the onion rings had salt on them too. so i don't feel as if i missed adding salt to the burgers while grilling them.

i usually cook with salt. the caesar salad had cheese in it too which had plenty of salt and the croutons too, which were homemade were also seasoned with salt.

you might be better off taking a potassium vitamin instead of the bougie salt. but hey, do as you wish.
