Hey all, I was wondering what everyones opinion on getting a Brand New (and new version) of a 22" WSM is a good/great deal. It's through Amazon in my gold box deal, thus only valid until tomorrow morning. I have (2) 18.5" WSM's and really struggling for space, but its not a necessity and could wait for a better deal if anyone knows of/anticipates something better coming along...

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

Does that include shipping? If so, I'd say that is pretty good. I just got mine last week, ordered through Home Depot, gave $399 and got shipping free. Ordered it on monday and got it on thursday even though they said 8 to 10 business day delivery.

i got mine for $300 on amazon (free shipping).

the trick to to put all the vendor's 22" wsm in your cart.
then put them in "save for later".
several times a day check your cart and it will tell you price differences (e.g. "went down to $324.99", etc).
do this until you like the price.
it will go up and down like crazy all the time.

but pull the trigger IMMEDIATELY when it reaches the price you like.

i argue that you should wait for $300 again.
but realistically if it gets down to $320 out the door then you should grab it.

the free shipping on amazon was practically over night.

obviously check the other sites as well.

The 18.5 is $240 on aimtofind right now, shipping included. My plan is to buy through amazon so the board can get the creds, but right now there is a $50 difference between aim2find and amazon ($290), so it's a bit tough to justify

2 18.5s and you want a 22? Who you cooking for...a football team?

Thanks!

I think it is a good price but then I purchased one of the first ones.
I am doing a big cook sunday and the 22 is going to handle it with ease.

Yeah, its nice have two 18.5s but I'm cooking for about 50 people. I'd really like the 22 for spare ribs and larger meats as such. The 22 I'll use probably 5-8 times a year - just for parties but I think it might be worth it...

Yeah, if you can afford it, go for it! From what I've heard the prices seem to get best around November or so. But perhaps that was because they were introducing the new models/upgrades???
