What do you guys think? I want to do it because the three legs are wobbly. Would the 26 sit too high? Should I replace the frame with some conduit and bend it into shape? Or shorten the existing legs so the 26 bowl isn't so high? PXL_20201202_210530273.jpg

If you’re going to bend conduit, build it from scratch, you can get the height where you want it (I’m 6’2” and extra height is a blessing) as well as make a side table as large as you want.
Keep the one stock and “hot rod” a new table/carriage you will be happier in the long run.

If your worried about the legs I would suggest the mini-ranch build. Here is my build: https://tvwbb.com/threads/mini-ranch-kettle-build-complete.64026/#post-710010 you can also do a search under mini ranch and you get some ideas on how others did theirs. Member Steve Porter was one of the first there have been others after as well. Dave W or Dave in KC (short memory) did a no drill build if you don’t want to drill into your grill.

I would highly suggest it. No wobble, you can adjust the height a bit and it’s on wheels making it easy to move around.

While it wouldn't be as cool as the mini-ranch, I bet you could figure a way to put a 26 on a Harbor Freight cart.

Those easily fit a 22 WSM, so you'd think there'd be enough room.
