I’d really like a “color change yellow” but, I fear the old issue of “Dangerous material” is still a consideration. Even if it did NOT do the color shift one would be pretty hot!

I'm interested in learning what color everyone would prefer to see on a 26" Master-Touch, other than the current Black or Smoke color options.
I would do one in dark Green, copper, or better yet over ocean blue,
Do it up like the University of Michigan football helmet. Blue with yellow "wings".

Y'all did the Ohio State 22", so a bigger... Better, PRETTIER 26" would be icing on the cake.🤣

A comparison chart with colors would be helpful for some of us who don't know the new ones.
Diner green is a soft almost key lime pastel green,
Slate is a medium matte blue
Ivory, the off white.
Hotrod yellow, the bright but not quite classic yellow.
Burnt orange, think rust color orange with a little brown mixed in.
Spring green, the bright yellowish green
Crimson, the slightly matte red kettle

Copper, green, and DO Blue everyone should know by now.

Too bad red isn't a possibility due to environmental hazards. A modern day Aristocrat would be slick. There was a guy a few years back that had one done by Indpendence Porcelain and I saved the pics.View attachment 114305View attachment 114306
Gorgeous! But as you mentioned, environmental restrictions that have been in place for around 25 years have prevented us from being able to make that color in the US.

You're spot on. The same issue that prevents us from doing the classic Weber red also prevents us from doing the old yellow that changed color while hot.

Oh really? I sent in on it to see if a lid & bowl were still available, and they were but said it was only in dark blue! So I got discouraged. Now I am EXCITED!!
So, the replacement lid is part # 65176. Just a heads up, this is the 2015 model year design, so the lid handle isn't welded on and you'll need the handle kit for it (the one with heat shield).

The bowl is part # 65170, however, it appears that the inventory has been exhausted and I see no schedules in the system to make anymore, so I'm pretty sure it's been discontinued. I'm really sorry for the disappointing news regarding the bowl.

Let me know if you've got more questions!

Can you run another batch?! :giggle:

Bummer about the bowl. Now I am not excited. My bowl is actually still pretty good, and so is the lid. But the rust around the handle has been bugging me the most.
Unfortunately, we've only sold about 5 of them in the past 3 years, so it's unlikely we'll be making more of them. :(

I've never tried it myself, but I've seen others mention applying some vegetable oil around the edges of the handle welds to slow down/stop that rust.
