Good morning y'all. My old 90's performer lid handle is rusting off and the table is cracking. Wife said go get yourself a new grill....... So, a new 26 kettle or new weber performer (90 degree lid pale and metal table. Non gas assist).

Sparky I know you're not going to throw that old gal in the trash, so if you buy a new Performer and hang on to the old one you'll have double the cooking area and two tables, a new table for the old gal can be had along with a new 90* bail. Don't kick her to the curb, she deserves better. Good luck with your decision.

She's not going anywhere. I love this grill more than my kids (don't judge, got three kids and their d@'m expensive and my kettle always does what I ask her to do).

Sparky, don't know if this would help your decision, but some Home Depots are selling the Performer Premium (full table w/o gas assist) for $70 off!

I bought one just a couple of days ago for $279. If you have several HD within a reasonable distance, one of them might have the sale. Call around, or go visit.

Excellent tip. Got three of them around here. Thank you.

Get the 26r. And order a new metal table and lid bail from the 2015 performers to upgrade yours. Then find a free or real cheap 22 kettle on CL to replace your lid.

certainly agree with getting a 26.75! lots more room for grilling veggies on trays, etc. (if you can't swing a ranch kettle, that is......grin)
