Hi My name is Jerry i have been a longtime Weber WSM user and member but wasnt active for along time. I really Enjoy the forum and it has alot of great info and Great people. I recently got a 26in Kettle with the Fire Butler system and i am beyond impressed. I am posting a few Short clips of the end of a 3 Butt Cook. I posted a hot indirect Cook with it under Accesorys a few days ago. This thing is so Versatile and it really expands the possibilities with a Weber Kettle

i notice your top vent is really choked down. What temperature were you cooking at? I looked at the Fire Butler website and various videos but never saw content relating to vent control so I am curious. I have to say that having the low and slow thing very well covered, what interests me most is the hibachi aspect.

Top and Bottom Vent Just about 1/8 to 1/4 cracked. I also have a 18 and a 22 Wsm and can say this with the Fire Butler smokes just as well. I was smoking at 220-235 and it is stingy with charcoal. I checked the coal at aprox 5 hrs and topped it off. I originaly had 1 chimney plus and on that it probably would have went another 3-5 hrs.. It held temps solid. The other thing is when doing chicken thighs indirect and at 275 i can use the whole grate. I have done peppers and onions and Burgers on the hibachi and cant wait to do some Philly Cheese steak. IMHO the Summit has nothing on this with the Fire Butler and at 1/3 the price

This is the info I needed, mind made up going to order next month after I get my new 26.75 kettle. Should be all that I need for large cooks!
