2018 Gilroy Garlic Festival Garli-Que BBQ Challenge

I enjoyed judging BBQ today at the Gilroy Garlic Festival's Garli-Que BBQ Challenge. Sadly, I left my smartphone at home so no photos. Here's an artist's rendering of me at the contest.

What was the Temps over there today Chris ? It was pretty brutal out here on the other side of the hill.

Not a big fan of the big, bold flavor of garlic at the Garlic Festival. In fact, I don't think I tasted any. But I did bring home the complimentary head of garlic they gave each judge...so garlic from the festival will be enjoyed at home.

What was the Temps over there today Chris ? It was pretty brutal out here on the other side of the hill.

The official high for Gilroy was 91°F today. But it felt hotter and might have been hotter at the venue itself.
