I'm a simple kind of guy. Nothing fancy for me. Cheap lite beer, and some butter and S&P is all I need in life. Peanut butter and crackers I love. Once in a while I'll splurge and buy me some Cashews, but for the most part it's peanuts for this PA guy. The Guru says 250 pit temp, and the meat light is still blinking, which is really good. Cause I gots lots of time till it has to come off, and the fatties have to go on.

I'll tell you how simple I am. Give me mashed taters and gravy, and I'll tell you to keep the gravy. Give me some butter, S&P and a slice of buttered bread, and I'm a happy camper.

I don't know how to do the quote thing but your line of "cheap lite beer, butter, salt and pepper, and peanut butter ought to be a classic!! Wait a minute.....bacon grease......gotta have it!!

Did you stuff the fatties or are they a certain flavored brand?

I always have bacon grease on hand for homefries and the like. The fatties are Bob Evans brand Maple rolls. As my mouth starts to drool, since I havent eaten for a very long time.

I need to get me one of those Guru's. I will pass on the cheap light beer with peanuts tho. I like the strong expensive kind. I am 12 hours into my 1st overnight with 2 butts and will post pictures later. Bryan I like your set up.

Guru took care of everything throughout the night. Woke up at 6 and saw there was some light rain falling, but went back to sleep. Light rain still falling here. Pit is still at 250 and the butts are at 180. Time to get a fattie on.

Some day we should hook up for a ride. My 65 Pan goes into the shop (my dad's harley). One more probelm to fix on the 82 goldwing and I will be in heaven.

The Fattie is done (rolled in Texas Brisket Blend also) and since it's been over 24 hrs since I ate anything, it's really calling my name. I'll try and hold out to let it rest for 30 min but... not sure I'm going to be able too.

Good afternoon internet drinking Buddy. I got up up at 11:00AM. I just had it in my mind that they were calling for rain today and to keep checking incase it got heavy. Just been light this AM and early afternoon here. Got some heavier stuff coming in soon. I got some thighs thawing in a bowl of cold water that I'm going to throw on after the butts come off. No sense and wasting the coals.

Mosef, it was on for 2 hrs at 250. I cooked it to an internal temp of 155.
 
Thighs now...good grief....so that's 2 butts, at least 1 fatty and now thighs. What's the deal...plenty of people to feed or a date with the vac sealer?
