Great work Chase!! Looks great!! Being as you are from Greenville I hope you are pulling for the Tigers tomorrow!! Hope it see you at the game ( I am coming to the tailgate if you have that PP there) My WSM likes to run about 260 and I think that is fine for butts

I am actually an Alabama fan so I'll be watching the Iron Bowl at home today. My wife is a Gamecock and those Clemson Tigers look too much like Auburn Tigers to cheer for. HAHA It should be a good game though. I'm a Dabo fan but not really a clemson one.

Looks great to me! I let my wsm run anywhere for 225 to 270°, but I like to try and keep it at about 250°as much as possible. Maybe I missed it in an earlier post, but were you using water in your pan? If your running hot try using water. I run all my butts with water . I put it in near, or at boiling hot, so as to not use to much energy heating up the water.
