Yah, get yourself one of the Genesis 1000-5000 grills with the deep cook box and double layer of flavorizer bars.

Bruce, so the Cookbox and Lid of Genesis 1000 will fit in Genesis Silver C. Will the mounting bolt holes line up? Will the height of the Burners line up? Thanks @Bruce.

Kinda. The lids are interchangeable from about 1985 to 2006 on Genesis grill boxes and some later Spirit 3 burner grills. However, the cook boxes will not transfer from one frame to a frame of another generation. For instance, A silver B cook box will not fit correctly on a Genesis 1000 frame and vice versa.

Bruce will it make difference using Gen 1000 Lid on a Silver C for Rotisserie purposes or will it matter because it has the Silver C Cook box ?

Sam:
Swapping those lids won't make any real difference. Possibly the rounder topped later Silver B/C lids have a little more room under them, but otherwise should not affect the roto in any way.
The Silver C cookbox is a shallower cook box than the Genesis 1000 and that is what the difference with a roto is. The deeper box is preferable for roto work, but not essential. The deeper box allows more room under the spinning meat and with the burners a little further away, it tends to have a little more even heating.
I hope that answers your questions.
