18" WSM Clean and Repair

Scored an 18" WSM off of Marketplace the other day just in time for my dad's birthday, this will be a gift for him. Got it for $50. I'd done a restoration of a Weber Genesis Silver last year, so was ready to get my hands dirty with this one which just needed some TLC, wasn't in bad shape at all. It was gunked up and dusty largely, so I scrubbed it clean so that he can have a fresh start in it.

We catch salmon together in Lake Michigan so salmon will be most of the action this thing sees. Excited to give it to him so that he can get it dirty again!

Shout out scotch brite pads, goo gone, brasso and elbow grease.

Nope! I have all 4 - just can't see them all in the after pics. In the Before pic where one is missing I had already taken it off. I am really bad about remembering to take before pics of projects, so I did with this one, but just after I had started haha.
