They're going to ask for pictures of the spot where the knobs attach, like where the burner tubes come out of the firebox to the outside. That front panel is notorious on Summits. Take the grates and flavorizer bars out and get a shot of that panel from the inside, like if the camera was where the food goes when you cook it trying to take a picture of you.
 
I will just say that this is probably not a great candidate. But if you have the money to spend (and maybe get a little help from Weber) AND you are prepared for a lot of work and frustration along the way, you will have one monster grill.

We don’t mean to make you feel bad about venturing out into more challenging territory. As others have said, though, the unavailability of some parts, the high cost of others, and massive size and complexity of these 3rd generation Summits have stymied a number of attempts to restore them. We will for sure try to help and encourage you whatever route you choose.
