Limited Edition Red Head $109.00

I guess that price moved them out! But I had a similar experience to John's. If the paint wasn't chipped off, what was there was an orangy red with a pretty dull orange peel finish. The black Master Touch grills on display next to them were night and day in comparison. They had a finish that looked and felt like porcelain rather than dull painted steel. Here is what I saw at one Home Depot near me a year ago Christmastime:

Compare those finishes to a true classic Red Kettle I bought from a member of the Weber Kettle Club. Even though it has the patina and marks of age, the color and finish are light years ahead in my opinion:

If you want a Red Kettle - a GREAT idea! - I would recommend searching out an original that has been cared for rather than one of these "limited edition" ones.
