As of 4/5/2018, we have reports across the US that Walmart is selling Kingsford Original 2/15lb twin-pack for $7.88. That's 26.3¢/lb, which is in-line with the usual annual lowest price/lb for Kingsford.

Time to buy!
 
Last weekend, our local WM had their twin 17.x or 18.x bags in the main area next to the grills without a discount. Then I walked into the garden center (which for us in Ohio is still in-progress) and found these twin 15 lb bags; they were not marked with any pricing detail, yet scanned at $7.88.
