...with cherry seeds!
Didn't have any cherry wood (don't care for the store bought chunks), so I improvised and saved cherry pits from fresh cherries.
I soaked the pits in water, drained them, and placed them on hot coals in a silted foil pouch. I marinated the bird in McCormick's applewood brine for a few hours too.
The 14" WSM did the honors. The end results were very good. I may try this method with other fruit seeds.
