Portion Sizes of sandwiches

I have volunteered to cook pulled pork for my Rotary Club fundraiser. I plan on buying 10lb. shoulders or butts with a bone to cook. I have a 22" WSM and plan on cooking at least 6 of them. How many sandwiches could I get from 60 raw pounds of meat? We will probably use bigger buns and not the little hamburger buns with 2 sides of some sort. Thanks for your help everyone.

60 lb @ 40% waste = 36 lb cooked x 16oz = 576 oz / 6 oz (cuz it's a "big" bun) = about 96 sandwiches give or take depending on how it's portioned out (by hand--ie guessing or by using a digital scale).

80 if figuring on 50% waste (which may be more realistic doing a bone-in butt).

576 oz cooked meat for 96 sandwiches with 40% waste
480 oz cooked meat for 80 sandwiches with 50% waste

Adjust accordingly (upwards) if 6 oz is too much.

Excellent information, Thank you Len.
