Any one ever sucessfully make Gyros on the WSM?

Just curious, as to make them authentic is tough for a home cook, and was wondering if anyone made anything passable on the WSM? (either lamb or chicken)
 
Yes, sure have. Not at all difficult. One simply needs to form the loaf smaller so that, when cross-cut, the slices will have both interior tenderness and exterior texture.
 
I have made Gyro’s using Kevin’s recipe and technique. I suggest making double and freezing them. They are excellent and very easy to make!
