Hey guys - I just got my griddle for my Genesis E-310. I was all prepared to properly season the griddle when I then saw on the box "porcelain enameled cast iron". So - am I correct in thinking that any cast iron that is porcelain coated does NOT need seasoning?

I can measure when I get home - but from memory it comes down to the end of the frame - so maybe 3-4 inches off the ground.

Classic® Veranda Cart BBQ Cover - over at Amazon. Looks like that is the best choice for the Genesis. It has vents - but they have a flap over them to prevent rain getting in. The cover is actually very well made - heavy duty - and cheaper than the Weber cover. Medium size fits my E-310...

I would head over to http://weber.com/help/manuals.aspx And locate your manual - and then the LP verion. I would just compare part numbers for anything that has to do with the burner system (manifold, burners, etc). Anything that has a different part number is needed for the conversion.

I emailed Thermoworks directly. Just give their orders department a call (or email). The refurbs aren't "cheap" but they sting a little less

Chuck - all the extra features that I've seen that come with the RED version.... it was almost a no-brainer!
