    Kingsford Mesquite

    Has anyone used this on a long cook? If so how did you like it? I'm wondering if I ad wood or not. I'm cooking a butt and my wife picked up the Kingsford mesquite, so I figure what the heck it sounds good anyways. The only mesquite I have to ad is a small pack of pellets, Would I even need it?

    Defrost a Butt

    Is there a quick way to defrost butts? I have a 2 pack from Sams and would like to defrost it quicker than the 3 day in the fridge. I'd really like to start it tonight but I don't think thats gona happen.

    To much smoke?

    Has anyone ever put to much smoke to a butt? If so how much did you use for wood? I use 4 fist size pieces and I would like to get alot more smoky taste.

    Wood pellets method

    I've read that I'll get 30 min of smoke wrapping pellets in foil and poking 1 hole in the foil. I'm wondering if I keep tossing in foil packs after a few will they smother out the coals? How is everyone going to use their pellets?
