With all honesty, no one would ever send you parts unless you have the item installed and they troubleshoot it over the phone then decide what's needed. Are you 100% sure your grill won't work properly if assembled? If you are then I suggest to return it and not waste your time.

Good to know. Have you ever used other pellet smokers before? Sorry if you mentioned this earlier but I missed it. I will never use any pellet smoker for searing or go above 400 and if at those temps the SF is safe to use then that would make or a strong contender it once was. Let's see how...

Cool. That's help. I am living on a hill with a private road so semi trucks can't deliver but single bed trucks have no problem. Waiting to hear your impression and how the smoke intensity on food compared to the SF

Thanks Bruno. I was pretty much set on the RT700 then put it on hold waiting for the SF and what encouraged me wait after black Friday is Rec Tec didn't have that good of discount on the RT700 so made the wait for the SF easier but now I am back to square 1.

Out of curiosity, why not Rec Tec 700?

The pellets seem to be lighter is smell and flavor which we prefer. I haven't tried pellets smoker vs pellets in a tube in a gas smoker. It depends on the cut off meat and duration of smoking. I smoked beef chuck roast twice using different types of pellets every time and didn't like the smoke...
