    My wife the enabler!

My wife just rolled her eyes when I came home with that many. No way she's doing it for me! On the good side she does let me grill as often as I like. Hmmm. Wonder whats going on there?

Kevin, I "cooked" on gas for 10 years and switched three years ago. Haven't looked back since. Stick with it and it gets better everytime.

Performer touch n go question about gas ignitioN

5 minutes with the gas assist is all that I have been doing. I haven't run the chimney next to the gas assist,or with it but for my money the gas assist is quicker and cleaner. When using my chimney, I went away from paper and went to the Weber cubes or another fire starter. A lot less debris...

That's a great score at 100. Igniters are cheap and easy to do.

    By far my favorite grill

I started with an 18.5 ots, then a 22.5 ots, and now have the performer. It is the best grill I have ever used. I absolutely love it! In fact after seeing mine three of my buddies each picked one up within a week.

Corn on the Cob (your method)

I husk it and remove silk as much as possible. Throw on direct heat and roll often. Wait for kernels to brighten and maybe get a little char but not much at all. Remove cobs, butter, salt, eat! once in awhile I will "marinate" it with some spices and lime juice but usually nothing.

    Kettle wish list.....

I'm not sure how to narrow it down. Any color older 22 would be great. A blue ss performer would be something I wouldn't pass on.

Asked Weber a Question About Colors

Come on, Troy! Not everyone has Weber fever/addiction/disease? As much as it sucks to say it, I think you are right on. Most people don't put the time into cooking and grilling like the group here. Most of my friends have no idea what the difference is between a Weber and a budget grill. My...

The grill really came out nice! It looks great. If I hadn't just scored a ss performer I would have to consider it.
