    Master-Touch....assembly trouble with ash ring....am I an idiot ?

    Are there slots at the base of the leg sockets to accept the tongue on the clips? I don't have a current MT so I may not be familiar with the attachment method. I have a 1991 Performer...they don't have the slots, so I purchased a new ring, cut the small tongue off the tabs and uses SS screws...

    I've had the same problem once or twice. I did a high heat burn the first time to get rid of it. The second time i just took it to the carwash and powerwashed the drum. Thought it better to start fresh plus I was planning on replacing all the nuts and bolts with SS, so the wash made it a bit...
