    Another Weber Testimony

    After the customer service experiences I've had with Weber, I'm not sure I will ever buy another grill from a different company. Sure some of their stuff can be high priced (like the holy grail known as the Ranch kettle...although I would love to buy one if I can find it for less than $400 )...

    I am doing my first smoke on my new WSM...there are two rump roasts (1 on each rack). They're about 5 pounds each.....what temperature should I have the grill at (it's been around 250 at the upper grill...btw, what is the difference between upper and lower grate?) What internal temperature...

    I have a OTG and a Performer...didn't really notice a huge difference, although I do prefer to use the Performer....maybe because of the table?? I don't really know.

    Congrats on the Performer...I have one and love it. The charcoal baskets are okay for short term indirect cooking imho. For direct grilling, definitely go without them.

    What is everyone cooking this weekend?

    I'm going to smoke a pork roast and turn it into pulled pork. I'll be doing it on my Weber Performer since I'm not getting my WSM until Wed. I hope it turns out okay.
