    Brisket 2nd stall?

15lb Prime Costco prime packer. Stalled at 150, added some fuel and she powered through after a couple hours. Now, Im at 13 hrs and the grate temp was dropping to 210-215 so I added more fuel and the meat has stalled again at 177-178 and hasn't budged for an hour or more. I probed it many times...

Maple Cayenne Ribs- again I know, but...

They are my favorite and an easy party hit! Too bad my Gators got waxed, at least the food was good! Was in a hurry to start so my temp wasn't settled quite right when I put them on. I was getting crazy readings from the Maverick too so I just went off of lid temp mostly. Its a cheaper model I...

    Beer Bath Bratwurst

Ive done this with about a dozen different beers, mostly domestic lagers/pilsner/lights. The best that I can remember was Miller High Life and Rolling Rock. We always called it the Brat-tub. 2 packs of Johnsonville Beer n Brats, takes well over an hour to do it right- but then you cut them into...

5lb butt and 2 beercan chickens

Separate cooks but posting together. 5lb pork but, with Gator Hammock 'Cooter Rubb'. 9hrs, with a pretty long stall. Realized (after this cook) I have not been prepping my WSM properly- using minion method- I have not had all vents to 100% to reach 225. I was leaving then at 23-30%. Wasn't...

    Quick question about burnt ends

Try Stubbs Beef Marinade. Zesty, and not too bbq-y.

Sunday Ribs for my 3rd ever smoke

Here's the recipe . Sorry for the delay! http://betterbegrilled.com/recipes/maple-cayenne-ribs The flavor was very different than your traditional bbq. The coriander and cumin i think add a lot of depth, and the sweet n' spicy of the maple syrup and franks -as strange as that may sound- is...

Sunday Ribs for my 3rd ever smoke

Tried a recipe from the Facebook page 'Grilled', their Maple Cayenne Ribs. Not a traditional BBQ taste, but they're the best ribs Ive ever had. I highly recommend their page for fun ideas for the smoker and highly recommend this recipe- I will be making these again for sure! :wsm::p

    Hello from Orlando!

No pics of the ribs but followed those up with a 5lb butt over night last night. Took nearly 14 hrs- had to add fuel at 8:00 this morning to get over the 180 hump. Fairly windy- 10+mph for most of the night. Pics, but I have to put them in a url first- grrr...
