Kroger, Fry's Foods, Smith's Grocery, Ralph's Grocery and Food 4 Less are all Kroger, Inc. What one has, they all have depending on your location. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kroger

Photobucket changes T&C regarding 3rd party posting of pictures

Came across this today. Read the new Terms & Conditions regarding 3rd party picture hosting published by Photobucket. What was once free is now going to cost some serious coin. https://www.dpreview.com/news/6875746538/photobucket-breaks-billions-of-photos-online-upsets-millions-of-users Time...

    Worst Ribs Ever

The last Baby's I purchased at Smiths here in Las Vegas, NV (Fry's Foods in AZ or Kroger in the midwest) were great. Bad batches happen everywhere. Sorry to hear about the bad experiences.

    Pizza Challenges

JimK, you're not alone with Photobucket problems. Last couple pics I posted disappeared into never never land. I too had to go to Flicker to correct the problem. Too bad we cannot post pic directly in this site, like so many others allow you to do. Pizza cooks = trial and error. That is the...

    Corned beef

Back a couple years ago when beef prices were astronomical, I was walking around my Costco Business center here in Las Vegas, NV. They had both Choice packers and Corned Beef packers right next to each other. The price of the Corned Beef packer was almost $2.00/lb cheaper than the regular...

Thank goodness it was only the fence. The neighbor will be curious, but he will benefit from the "upgrade".

Missisiippi Tri Tip Sous Vide start Caveman finish

I admit that the pics started out on the boring side, but the "Caveman" finish won me over. Excellent job!

I think I'm going to have a tasty weekend!

The best I can get @ Costco Business center here in Las Vegas is Choice. Next time my son comes to town, on my hit list to do. Just wished they were Prine ribs though.

Grilled Flint Style Coney Hot Dogs

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, the one thing I truly miss living in Nevada is a authentic Detroit style coney dog. I can get one at The D casino, but I hate going down to crazy Freemont St. for that one hot dog. So, whenever I hit town, one mandatory stop is to either Lafayette Coney Island...

    Choice Tri-Tips @ $1.98lb

I have not see "Prime" Tri-tip's in Las Vegas as of yet. I hope they are coming. Now, at $1.98/lb for choice, I can pack my stand alone freezer full, all with the wife's blessing! :D

    Prime Beef Brisket - Where????

As a native born Michigander who escaped, who lived in the tri-county area for over 40 years -- AMEN to that statement!

    Prime Beef Brisket - Where????

Costco Choice flats were $4.69 or $4.79/lb. When you do the trimming math, the cost is the same. Taste -- Prime, at least to me, taste better. YMMV.

    Prime Beef Brisket - Where????

$2.69/lb was the cost at my Costco in Las Vegas yesterday afternoon for a packer. Well worth it, but a lot of trimming is needed.

    choosing a brisket

I have done a couple Prime Costco briskets this year -- for my money, I'll be very hard pressed to go back to something else. We separated the point from the flat and cut the flat in half. Came out fantastic. Everyone fought for the scraps and I even thought someone was going to eat the...
