What are the advantages of running 2 fans?

I've seen pictures in a few Facebook and forum posts of people running 2 fans on their WSMs. Does anyone here do that? If so, what are the advantages over running just 1 fan? Here's my current setup: 22.5" WSM Fireboard 2 Drive BBQ Guru Pit Viper 10CFM Fan Would adding a second Pit Viper...

Replacement Plug For BBQ Guru Adapter

Does anyone have an extra rubber plug for the BBQ Guru Weber adapter? I've lost mine. I know that I can order one from them, but they want $14 shipping for it! I'm not sure that it's worth spending $20 for a replacement. If nobody has one, could you maybe recommend somethi gi can get from Home...

Best Charcoal Filling/Lighting Approach with a WSM 22.5 AND Flame Boss 300?

I usually only light about 10-15 pieces of charcoal, and then let my ATC do the work to get it up to temp.

    Got 2 Butts Going

I have 2 butts on the smoker with 4 chunks of Guava wood. The WSM is holding steady at 248*. These should be ready by 11:00 tonight. My question is this. How long can I hold them wrapped in foil in the cooler? We're nt eating them until around 1:00 or 2:00 tomorrow with the Turkey. Should...

    Weber Charcoal Chimney

I've always used either my side burner on the gasser (only thing the gasser is used for), or my turkey fryer burner thingy (technical term). Works great. Just put it there for 5 minutes or so, and then move it to the charcoal grate.

    Is This Normal?

My butts have been sitting at 180 for about 2.5 hours now. Is this a second plateau? I was asleep during the 160s, but I have always read that the 160s are the longest.

    2 Butts Going

Put 2 butts on the Weber at 1:30. I am cooking to freeze, so I don't care when they are done (I will eat a sammich before freezing though). I had me a scare when I put them on. I was positioning the grate thermometer, and the grate fell to the water pan. Luckly, I caught the butts before any...

    Reheating Pulled Pork

I have some pulled pork in a FoodSaver bag in the freezer. Can I just drop that in some boiling water to reheat, or do I need to thaw it first?

    Same Charcoal Pan??

Yeah. I understood what you meant. To be honest, the Weber water pan is not all that sturdy either.

    Same Charcoal Pan??

Well for $4.00, I can buy 3 or 4 for the same price that Brinkmann is selling them for. I'll buy one and see how it goes.

    Same Charcoal Pan??

Is this the same charcoal pan that you can get directly from Brinkmann? I found it on the Bass Pro Shops website for $4.00. If it is the same (or will work just as well), I don't see why I would pay $14.00 from brinkmann. Link...
