I just got the 32quart pot and it is perfect i think you will be fine LoL just realized it was u that told me about the deal on the pot thought this was a new post

I pretty much ran it vents wide open so prob 350 or so, the temp probe on the top was reading 400-425 i believe, but its right over the coals on the side so i think that reads a bit higher than were the meet is on the center of the grill

Not sure what the 16's cost a friend brought them over I usually just get a 24 pack of 12oz for like $14 to $15 i think sometimes safeway has them on sale for like $13 but got to have it the blue ribbon matches my grill :)

Hi all Wife came home late in the day with ribs for dinner so I decided to go for the hot and fast method smoked 1.5 hours then foiled them with a little orange juice for 2 hours (that was the only juice in the house I figured id give it a shot worked great no orange flavor after) then back on...

just got the new pot it seems to fit perfect also the lid fits just right and the bottom seems alot more stable, thanks again for the heads up on the sale Rich

Hey all just trying to start my mini wsm build got a china made steamer pot at Walmart bottom measured about 13.5" but it seemed to slip side to side in the kettle base of my new SJG is that normal or should it be a little snugger I took it back to try another and they were all sold out there...
