    Problem solved. I went back to a how to post on setting up wifi and saw that I needed to set my computer's IPv4 address to 192.168.200.2. Connected right away after that. Thanks for your help!

    Network connection trouble

    My wireless router recently died and after installing a new one, I'm no longer able to access my heatermeter though its IP address. I'm connecting the HM directly to the router with an Ethernet cable, without the wifi dongle attached, and the HM shows the IP 192.168.200.1 shortly after boot up...

    Nice work Ralph! I like how it's angled down to keep it out of the way. When I upgrade from the rubber band, I'll try to replicate your design.

    Here's my approach on a Chargriller Kamado Kooker. Used a rubber band (blue) to attach it to the bottom vent handle. A small piece of cereal box (frosted mini wheats) angles the fan into the air intake. There are gaps around it but I compensate by reducing the top vent.
