    How / when do you add charcoal using Minion Method?

    If my cook needs more time than I can get out of a full load of charcoal using the minion method, how do I add more charcoal? Would I add lit charcoal, unlit charcoal or set the middle off and restart another minion fire? I have the 18.5 WSM and a pitmaster IQ110 and have never used either...

    Bare metal on edge of 18 1/2 Base

    I was assembling my new (first) 18 1/2 WSM that I received for Christmas and noticed a 1 inch or so area on the top edge of the base that looks like bare metal. ( no porcelain ). Is this a common problem? Should I contact Weber or just spray some high temp paint on it.
