Found this at our local Ocean State Job Lot store for only $6.00 wipes clean is only 3/4" bigger than the Brinkman pan and is 1.5" deeper. No more gunk buildup.

Anyone have an old wooden handle for a 30 to 40 year old 18" weber red grill?

Found this for free behind a womans house and she said take it for free. Could use a wheel and maybe a new wooden handle but it cleaned up ok. It says BAR-B-Q KETTLE with just a patent # on it. Can you still get parts for it? Any idea how old it is?

Well finally finished the WSM with the extra center section. Figured I'd try bullalo wings cause there cheap just in case it didn't work. It did take a while to get up to temp but it made it and the smoke went fine. Also had a couple wild hog roasts on the top rack with four racks of wings...

Found a brand new Weber one touch gold on Ebay and got it for a total of $74.99 plus $23.00 shipping. Pretty good deal considering I couldn't find another for under $139.00 anywhere. Saved about $43.00 and some change.

Had some free time today and some scrap 1/8x1-1/8" aluminum flat stock laying around so I figured I'd ,ake some new,stronger and wider legs for my WSM. Much more stable.

I picked up another center section added a couple cooking grates and ordered a new door( not in yet)to increase my cooking capacity x2 plus it is 100 square inches bigger than the new 22 inch WSM that has ben advertised for $350.00. I only have about fifty bucks into this besides ordering the...

Looky what I found on the side of the road for free. Works fine and is in great shape.

I used an old camp stove burner and some scraps of metal and wood to make a free chimney starter. I was bored and it was free it works and is fairly sturdy. Way to much time on my hands.

I was thinking about how to shake the ash from my charcoal grate and came up with this free mod with junk I had laying around.And it works.

Like it says over the years I found myself reading all this great info but not listening. I alway's went back to my old ways as in rubs, bbq sauces and cookers. Now I listen and apply what I'm learning and my smokes are getting so much more to my liking so thanks all! It's fun to try different...

I'm about to do my 2nd smoke (brisket again) with lump does the lump burn faster than briqettes? My 1st smoke with briqettes went 13 hours and still had plenty. Great smoke it was too.

I don't know if eneyone has tried this but I got this stuff from work and it seem to do the job. Check out the pics here.I don't know what there called but there electrical and fit two Maveric probes.
